In a move that has left fans and the internet baffled, Jonathan Majors, the former Kang of the MCU, has donned a new Marvel persona for Halloween - none other than Blade! But here's where it gets controversial: given his recent firing by Marvel Studios, this costume choice raises some eyebrows.
Majors, who was set to be the next big bad in the MCU after Thanos, played pivotal roles in Loki and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, gearing up for his starring role in the upcoming Avengers films. However, his world turned upside down when he was convicted of reckless assault and harassment, leading to his immediate dismissal as Kang.
Despite this, Majors' recent Halloween costume selection has sparked curiosity. Attending a party dressed as the iconic Daywalker from Wesley Snipes' Blade films, he was accompanied by his wife, Meagan Good, who channeled another beloved Marvel character, Storm from the X-Men. This move is particularly surprising given Majors' history with Marvel and the potential media attention it could generate.
In a March 2025 interview with Variety, Majors revealed he had reached out to Kevin Feige, expressing his desire to return to the MCU. He stated, "I just want to clear the record. I loved my time at Marvel, and I still love Kang. I'm watching, and I see what they're doing. If they need me, they know where I'm at."
During an appearance on The Breakfast Club podcast, Majors remained optimistic about reprising his role as the time-traveling villain, Kang. He said, "Kang carries a certain novelty and challenge for an actor. As long as the fans are talking, there's hope."
When recently asked about the possibility of returning as Kang by The U.S. Sun, Majors remained tight-lipped, stating, "I cannot say anything about that." However, when prompted about a potential Kang project, he hinted, "It's the multiverse, so there's always that."
